Alginate for moulding on human body

Alginate is a moulding product made primarily from brown seaweed. The chemical characteristic of alginate is its rapid setting and effectiveness in absorbing the impression on the human body, which is unmatched for its safety and high tolerance to food contact (alginate is the most widely used application in dental casting). It is also widely used in the food industry as a cargo supplement; alginates can form gels that are used as food additives E 400 to E 404, which allow the reconstruction of food hams, creams, desserts, ice cream, yoghurt, reduced products, etc.
