Silicone 3428 is a polyaddition curing silicone. Excellent tear resistance.

 
Applications :

- Manufacture of flexible moulds offering excellent accuracy in the reproduction of details, optimum mechanical resistance and long life.

- Production of thermal expansion mandrels for forming composite materials (aeronautical industry, shipbuilding, etc.).

- Manufacture of moulds for chocolate, sugar and marzipan objects, and for the manufacture of decorative sweets, bakery products, biscuits and confectionery.

Characteristics : Colour: pink / Mixing ratio: 100/10 / Hardness: 28 Shore A / Breaking strength: 7.5 MPa / Tear strength: 20 kN/m / Elongation at break: 600 % / Working time: 60 minutes / Demoulding: 16 hours at 23° / Temperature resistance: 250°.  

Insulate your model well with Vaseline grease or T1 release agent. No latex gloves.
 
It can be used in the manufacture of flexible moulds intended for long-term storage or to reproduce the model with great precision (cane and ceramic industry, moulders, model makers...), in the manufacture of thermal expansion mandrels for the moulding of composite materials (aeronautical industry, shipbuilding...). It can also be used for moulding chocolate objects, marzipan, pastries, biscuits, bakery products, etc.
